We are Calling a Senior Pastor!
It's an exciting time to be in a call process! We trust God for a good result of this effort to get a new Senior Pastor.
First Lutheran Church has democratically elected a Call Committee of six members to guide our church through this process. Our Call Committee is currently working to draft a Ministry Site Profile, which outlines what our church is like and what we are looking for in a new pastor.
Sunday March 30th, church members will have an opportunity to meet with the Minneapolis Area Synod staff to have a conversation about the document. To learn more about this process visit the Minneapolis Synod ELCA's Call Process Website.
The Bishop of the Minneapolis Synod of the ELCA Jen Nagel will then prayerfully match up the information in this profile with candidates to be interviewed by the Call Committee.
