Every Meal Food Support

Fighting Child Hunger

Every Meal leverages community and school partnerships to fight child hunger by providing a weekend’s supply of food to hungry children. First Lutheran partners with Highland Elementary in Columbia Heights. Every Friday of the school year, food is distributed to the students who have signed up for Every Meal. Let us know if you would be willing to be one of the volunteers who helps with the distribution on Fridays. This will likely be one-two times a month.

A background check through the school is needed. There is no cost to volunteers.
