Stories from Our Neighborhood is a monthly storytelling series co-sponsored by HeightsNEXT and First Lutheran Church. Community leaders from various ethnic, cultural, and lifestyle backgrounds tell their story and talk about how we can be better neighbors.

Bird Watching in Silverwood Park
Weds. Sept 23, 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Silverwood Park
Take the Bus (or meet at) Silverwood Park. Go on a short walk with the Silverwood Park Naturalists and look for birds. We will finish with ice cream!
Latino Poetry Night from Columbia Heights Poets for Hispanic Heritage Month
Weds. Oct 14,  6:30 - 7:30 pm
Come hear stories and poems from Latino Poets Reuben and Anita Rivera, as well as poetry from Latino youth in our community at First Lutheran Church of Columbia Heights.
