Confirmation Completion Project

Sundays from 11 AM to 12 PM

Confirmation runs from grades 6 – 8, and ends with the Rite of Confirmation in the fall of grade 9. In our program, young people form supportive small groups, review the core teachings of the Christian faith, serve others, and develop faith practices.

We'll send out learning activities each week, usually a short video or a slide presentation, for youth to review at home. Then we will gather on Sundays for prayers, highs and lows and a discussion on how to apply the learning to our life.

Confirmation students are involved in the life of our church:

  • Serving as acolytes (helpers) to the pastors during worship services
  • Doing service learning projects in the community
  • Volunteer to help at church meals and events

In addition, we host confirmation retreats every year in the fall.
