Ash Wednesday & Lent Worship
Beginning Ash Wednesday (Mar. 2), we will speak and listen to this Psalm of trust, spoken from the voice of those who long for rescue, for basic needs, and assurance of God’s love and grace.
We hope that members of our community will learn the words of this psalm by heart over the next six weeks, as it will be our Bible reading each Sunday and Wednesday during Lent. You can pick up a laminated card with Psalm 23 so that you can read it daily, or upload this Psalm 23 image to keep on your smartphone.

Welcome to our Lenten podcast!
During the season of Lent, we will provide one episode per day which will include a scripture reading, a short meditation, and a prayer.
Each day we will hear a little bit more from the Gospel of Luke, until we finish on the day before Easter. The presenters and producer are staff and members of our faith community: First Lutheran Church in Columbia Heights, MN.
We offer this podcast to you and to God in the sincere hope that by immersing ourselves in God’s story as told through the voice of Luke, we will be drawn closer to Jesus and closer to the people he is calling us to be. May this podcast be part of your Lenten spiritual practice and may you be blessed. Thank you for joining us here: Lenten podcast
