Children, Youth, & Family Ministries

Welcome to Children, Youth and Family Ministries at First Lutheran! We provide a warm, loving environment so that each young person can feel safe and have fun as they grow in their own spirituality. We strive to give kids a foundation in God’s Word and a knowledge of God’s deep and unending love for them in Jesus Christ.

Our faith journey starts at birth and continues throughout life. We believe children and youth deserve faith-filled and fun opportunities to lay the foundation for lifelong faith, community service, experience the love of God, and the joys of connecting within a Christian community.

We offer family-fun events, communion preparation classes, and kids’ service projects. We partner with parents in providing age-appropriate Bibles for all kids in our church. Children begin to learn stories from scripture in small groups at church. As we all live out the promises made at baptism, we’re honored to partner with families in faith formation.

Welcome to Youth Ministries at First Lutheran! Our 6th-12th grade youth gather for faith talks, connection and lots of fun!

We provide a supportive and welcoming environment so that each young person can feel safe and have fun as they grow in their own spirituality. The lessons are enhanced with opportunities for community service, friendship, games and team building activities, as well as, prayer and discussions.
